I moved from Maine to Indiana, and I’m on my way to california. The question is, Is it possible to ship a bottle of wine. My mother says they won’t but for some reason, I don’t believe her. She said that it is illegal to ship wine, but yet they have online stores that ship their wine. Is she lying or how can i get my wine back?

Hey! I’m throwing a girls night soon and we are going to have a wine and cheese tasting. Are there certain cheeses that go better with some wines than others? Any pairing suggestions?
Called Chaptalization, not only does it seem like cheating and cheapening the quality of wine, is it really necessary? All the wine recipes I find for making it at home call for literally pounds of sugar. Would using the right fruit at the right ripeness result in a good amount of alcohol?
What about for other berry fruits, apples, or pears?
I’ve been saving wine bottles and glass jars, thinking I would think of something to make w/ them for Christmas presents by now… I’m running out of time!

Once you open a bottle of red or white wine, how long can you keep it in the refrigerator for cooking purposes before throwing it out?
