I’m about to reserve seats for Hawksley Workman’s show at the City Winery, but the people in my party are under 21, so I don’t want to waste the money if we can’t get in. Does anyone know whether it varies by show, or if the venue is all ages, 18+, or 21+?

Hello. We have family members who are wine snobs (a man and his wife) who, without fail, always bring their own "quality" wine to every party or event they attend. (even formal events) I found this very insulting when they showed up at my son’s bar mitzvah. They don’t offer the wine as a gift, they simply open it at their table and enjoy it themselves (while offering anyone who may want some). We always provide top of the line wine and liquor and their showing up with their own wine give me the impression that they expect whatever we were serving would not be good enough. Am I wrong to be insulted or is this rude?

I have a bottle of Marily Merlot 1995 in mint condition and I would like to sell it. I tried eBay but it only allows certified wine sellers to sell wine and they require 30% commission or more on the sale. I am in New York city (Manhattan). Does anyone know how else I can sell it? Any wine collectors clubs in the area or online? This is a wine that sells for 0 per bottle and I’m willing to sell it as low as 0.

I had some leftover table-red wine from a recent party (about a case and a half). It accidently got stored at room temperature for a week instead of in the basement. The bottles were screw tops and the wine was unopened. Some of the bottles had been previously chilled during the party. When I opened one of the bottles today the wine seemed slightly brown and tasted off. I didn’t think it could have gone bad so quickly. Is this a storage issue or could the wine have already been bad? THANKS!!
