I want a wine rack that you can mount on the wall. just one that holds maybe two wine bottles. I seen them before but cant find any online. thanks
What I mean by this is that my dad asked me if he was allowed to take wine to China with him and I wasn’t really sure. My dad says that he isn’t taking it directly on board with the hand-luggage but sort of in the cargo place (You know what I mean I hope)
Anyways, if it is permitted, what precautions would I need to take (i.e., special cases or packaging, or maybe special procedures…)
I am studying abroad in Italy, but visiting Germany first for a week. I will have about 4 bottles of finger lakes wine to give away as gifts. I want to know if I will be able to get through customs in both countries with this wine in my CHECKED BAG?
I recently shipped my wine from professional storage in CA to my home in FL. A friend said that I should now let it rest for 3 months minimum before drinking, that it has to settle back down. I think that is silly because it will be dumped into a decanter before it is drank anyway.
Does anybody know if there is truth to having it rest for 3 months? If so, Why?
WHY????? Can anyone tell me that wine tastes different after long plane flights rather than resting???

I was watching a re-run of Frasier were they belonged to a wine club that had an old classical like atmosphere (at a loss for words here), with candles and such. I’ve never been to a wine club, when I look them up they seem to be held in boring conference rooms. Do old fashioned wine clubs like this actually exist. I live in Denver Co, can any one recommend any Interesting wine clubs to join.
