I buy wine from local wineries and I pick them based on the tastings. I don’t usually drink the bottles right away usually a month or two will go buy. I store them in a temperate room and on their side so the cork stays wet. My problem is that when I open them I feel like they don’t taste as good as they did at the tastings. I usually get sweet whites, blush, and fruit wines. Am I doing something wrong, should we consume them faster?
I had the most amazing wine the other day, but I can’t remember who makes it.
I know that it is from New Mexico, and the label is white with a picture of a fish, a rock cliff/mesa in the background, maybe some water, etc.
So basically, you walk into a store and the shop manager comes over to you and says in a really annoying and loud voice
"YOU ARE OUR ONE MILLIONTH CUSTOMERRRR!!!!" and they offer you a bottle of generic wine but also present you a cheque for one million dollars!

I have a friend’s birthday party coming up and I’d like to get her a bottle of wine that I know she would like. She is part of a wine club that recently sampled many different types of wine and I know she liked the 2nd one from the right, but I can’t for the life of me seem to find the name or maker of it online. Does anyone recognize this or have any ideas of what it may be called? Thanks!

I am making a wine basket for some friends for christmas and I dont know what else to put in it. So far I have a wine rack, wine glasses, 2 bottles of wine, wine charms, and thats about it. What else can I put in here to make it look nice. Thanks !!

The distributorship is very small and only carries boutique brands that the big guys don’t have room to push. There are no big name brands at all. The either push brands for the major dist. or have a portfolio of indie brands to sell.
