Every place I have found that can ship to Mexico has cheap, small dollar items available. I need to send a great holiday gift to a client in Mexico. I love places like Wine Country Gift Baskets or Olive and Cocoa but their international options either don’t exist or they are values.

Any suggestions of reputable companies with quality products for international shipping?

I am asking so I can get other peoples opinion on this, because my boyfriend doesn’t see why the guy is expected to pay for everything and wine and dine me. I’m not asking him to pay for everything obviously, but it would be nice for him to offer every once in awhile and treat me to something, you know? Your opinion on this would really help, thankyou :)

We are buying a couple hundred bottles (merlot and chardonnay) for our wedding and are ordering custom labels. There is not a Trader Joe’s in our state (there is one where our wedding will be), so I can’t go look at one. I called a few stores and no one was willing to check for me! I don’t want to order the wrong size labels. If anyone has this info or has a bottle you could measure I would really really appreciate it!

I’m interested in buying a bottle of wine for a wedding gift, with the intention that it be opened on their tenth anniversary. The problem is that I know nothing about wine, while the groom is something of an amateur wine expert. Any suggestions? Can it even be predicted when a wine will open and close?

I saw a wine county inspired garden on The Outdoor Room http://www.hgtv.com/hgtv-the-outdoor-room/videos/index.html
But their house is in a dry, hot, sunny place (LA) while I live near Seattle. Is there a way I can create that type of feel in my backyard?

What is your favorite type of wine and why?

Right now I’m loving Chardonnay from Spicewood Vineyards in Spicewood, Texas.
What about you?
Awesome… I’ll look into those. I’m always staring at the wine section wondering what to pick.
I’ve tried pink truck and it’s pretty good.. mostly I just like the name and logo haha.

Ok…I was contemplating on either upgrading to Vista Ultimate or switch to Ubuntu.

Now if I go to Ubuntu, I know I would have to use WINE to use Adobe products like Photoshop, Illustrator, etc..and most of the open-source stuff can work on Ubuntu like Firefox, Pidgin, Ktorrent, etc…

But then when I was trying out Vista on my sister’s new 0 Dell laptop (installing stuff for her, adjusting settings for her), everything was running smooth on that OS as well. Adobe products worked well, nothing wasn’t really going slow, internet was smooth and the whole nine.

When I make money, I make it in loads and then don’t have money for like a month (like make 00 in one day). So when I do get the money, should I buy Vista Ultimate, stay with XP, switch to Ubuntu, or try out that hacked version of Mac OS’ Leopard on PC (meaning I would have to upgrade my hardware some)…
