A nice wine for a Christmas gift?
I would like to buy my boss and his wife a classy red wine for a Christmas gift. Is Stags Leap a good brand? Any additional suggestions??

Stag’s Leap is Great–and Expensive. Sells for about $100 in restaurants around here and $50 in the stores. I was treated to a red –I can’t remember if it was a carbernet–twice.
Another option:
A small bottle of Veuve champagne–enough for 4 glasses (about $24) A large bottle goes for around $60.
I love getting ports or ice wines as gifts, something the recipient might not usually purchase for themselves.
