Are Jobs hard to come by in Wine Country California?
I live on the East Coast and want to move to Santa Rosa but think I might have a hard time trying to find a job. I’m a senior in High School and want to get a job so I could afford college and apartment and so on. Difficulty on a scale 1-10

Right now, Sonoma County has a 10.2% unemployment rate. Napa has an 8.8% unemployment rate. This actually isn’t that bad, considering that some California counties have unemployment rates over 20%.
I don’t live up there, so I’m not going to give a 1-10 difficulty. But keep in mind that California is a lot more expensive than you are used to. Ideally, you should have a job lined up before you move here, but if that is impossible, bring several thousand dollars to cover rent and living expenses while you look for a job.
