Are the winery tours with the Napa Valley Wine train worth it?
I am planning to visit the Napa Valley in August and the Wine train seems interesting but there wine tours only take you to 1 or 2 wineries, that doesn’t seem to be worth it to me. Is there any other tour you would recommend that goes to more wineries in the region?

You may want to hit the wineries yourself, as you are in better control of what you want to see ans where to go
Taking the wine train is really fun and well worth doing, but if you go, do it during the lunch time as it is cheaper and you see more. But if you expect to see a lot of wineries, then the wine train is NOT the place to do that. It does not stop at wineries at all. It is more about a fine lunch and seeing the scenery. For great wine tours I recommend California Wine tours. They will customize for you a tour that suites you best.
My wife and I did the wine train a couple of years ago, and will probably do it again this summer.
My opinion is that you are better off separating winery tours from the wine train. The train is a nice day trip and meal. For logistical reasons, the tours associated with the wine train have to be wineries that are directly on the train track. You can do better.
One of the best tours we had was at Rutherford Hill Winery.
