Being offered a glass of wine in my dreams?

   Hi Jenny,

   Dreams don’t work that way - that some symbol has a meaning the way words in a language have a meaning you can look up in a dictionary. It is only a matter of what the act of offering the glass of wine means to you. If you have a whole dream to relate, however, or some life event or feeling you sense is related, connections can be made and patterns seen to clue in on the meaning.

   The meaning depends upon the following:

   1) Are you underage? The offer would then represent a coming of age.
   2) Is wine taboo for you for any reason? It then represents temptation.
   3) Are you Christian? It could represent the Holy Communion and a conference of wisdom offered by the wine.
   4) Have you recently asked the question of whether your glass is half full or half empty? If so, what was it in your dream?
   5) Did your cup runneth over?

   …etc. It is in this manner that you can find the meaning in your own dream. It is highly individual. Any recalled emotions and other details, and innate senses of how this might relate to your life, will give much more clarity to the dream. Hope that helped!
