Best way to remove both the label and the glue from wine bottles?
What's the best way to remove both the label and the sticky glue from wine bottles? I'm reusing wine bottles for a craft project, and have been boiling and soaking the wine bottles to remove the labels. The labels are coming off, but I'm still stuck with the sticky glue from the labels- not pretty at all. Anyone have a good suggestion?

First soak to remove most of the label. Then use GooGone to remove any glue that is left.
?
Have you tried Goo Gone gel? I love that stuff; I think it might work for you.
HAIRSPRAY!!! or shaving cream, rub it on, leave for 5 mins and wipe off.
Let the bottles dry completely. Spray WD40 on the glue. Let it set for a few minutes, then wash. You can also use baby oil, vegetable oil, mayonnaise, olive oil, Goo Gone, or Goof Off. The oil is needed to remove the glue.
Hot water and steel wool.
Try naptha (lighter fluid), mineral spirits(paint thinner), or acetone (nail polish remover)
Goo Gone …or… Goff Off…cheap at the dollar tree
