Bought my sis 2 special wine glasses. Would like to carry home for xmas in my luggage but how to pack?
These are hand-painted his and her personalized stemware (25 bucks ea!). Should I try to put them in suitcase when I fly home for Christmas, or am I better off trying to send them through the mail? I’ve seen wine class travel cases for sale on line, but they’re running on up, more than I wanted to spend . . .

If it were me, I’d either mail them or ship them via UPS or FedEx. You don’t want to put them in your checked luggage - they could easily get broken or stolen. You could carry them on, of course, but don’t gift-wrap them - the package would need to be opened at security.
Pack them very carefully and hand carry them !!!!! or pack carefully and put them in your luggage in the middle of your soft clothing. I’d hand carry them
If you want to put it in your luggage, wrap the wine glasses with bubble wrap each, and then put it in a small box that fits it. When you place it in the luggage, make sure you have clothes around it, acting as a cushion for the box. Then, hope for the best. Another way is to put it in your carry on, giving you a peace of mind because you’re carrying it. I think that’s a better option too anyway, plus it’s not like it’s a really huge box to carry.
k if i were u i would put them in your carry-on or just carry them in your hands because your checked bag could get thrown around…it’d b safer with u. just carry the box or whatever u have around
