Bronco Winery buys defunct wine labels. Why? Is it so difficult to introduce a new one-regulatory approvals?
I doubt the labels have any good will left. But maybe labels have to be registered state by state, or there are other government hoops to jump thru that can be bypassed by using a label that has already approved.
Thanks,
John

wine isn’t approved by the government. the FDA in the US has basically said whatever to wine makers. as for why? likely name recognition. If i made a new wine… it will likely take a lot more money and effort to get people interested than a old label that went poof.
