Can anyone suggest a good wine club?
I am looking to join a wine club. Does anyone know of a reputable one?
I live in Southern CA, driving distance to both Napa Valley and Temecula Valley.

I can tell you a good fight club
Why don't you start by letting us know where you are from? I could recommend a good one in Philadelphia, but that won't help you much if you live in Portland.
I would not recommend wine clubs. Get your feet wet by going to wine tastings, wine dinners, wine happy hours and try to socialize and meet people who drink wine. Most wine clubs are for people in the industry who know each other and they are generally not a social event. Once you have met about 10 people, couples etc maybe you could start your own club with friends…
Try Andrea Immer's wine club. She is the sommelier that's all over foodtv and fine living networks. Just go to the foodtv website and follow the links to her page. You can put your own tasting notes into a wine tasting journal to keep track of your wine tasting. She also has some clubs where she picks wines and has them delivered to your door. I haven't tried this as I live in a state that won't allow alcohol to be shipped to my door.
no, i don't think you live in my area…
If you are looking for a wine club where people meet and taste wine, I would recommend wine brats or becoming a member of Orange County Wine Society. However, generally when you refer to a wine club, it entails signing up with a particular winery who will give you a discount for purchasing a certain number of bottles of wine per year.
