Can I bring 12 bottles of wine from california to guatemala?
I am going to a wedding in Antigua, Guatemala later this month. Am I allowed to bring 12 bottles of wine with me on the plane. I will be checking in the whole case of wine.

You must declare it, and it must be checked. You’d be better off purchasing it at the duty free wherever your connection is before Guatemala. We travel there frequently and I usually bring vodka. I did have it removed from my bags on one occasion because it wasn’t declared. You’re better off at the duty free. Depending on where you purchase your wine, it might be cheaper at duty free as well.
Call the airline. All of them have different policies. They might just charge you a little extra for the weight.
