Can't have a case of wine sent to me in Pennsylvania…?
Do you think I could get a case of my favorite California wine sent to a liquor store in NY? Pennsylvania is crazed with stupid regulations like this! Any other suggestions???

I’d just go to a wine shop and have them order the case for you. It will be a little more expensive than getting it direct from the vineyard, but it appears that you really don’t have an alternative. So the "direct price" is not available to you anyway.
Pa still has the PLCB Stores. Alot of people in PA do not get it.
Pa cititzens elected the ex mayor of philadelphia Rendell to be the governor. They will never get it. Rendell left Philly a mess and they still put him in the governors mansion. Why do you think they will ever change?
I am from Williamsport originally. I got out of there when I was 18.
Wake up people. It is a nice place to visit, but that is it.
You will never get rid of the state stores. they are there sucking your tax dollars and aint going nowhere.
Good Luck
Well, from what I read - PA is in a legal limbo right now. For sure they allow in-state wineries to ship directly to your PA address, but they were prohibiting out-of-state wineries from shipping to you.
Liquor control laws vary from state to state - and as you point out PA has some of the more unusual.
Check out this page on about.com regarding shipping wine to PA: http://pittsburgh.about.com/od/pennsylvania/f/wine_shipping.htm And here is a page about how the states differ in shipping laws: http://www.wineintro.com/basics/shipping/
Most wineries that sell via Internet will know for sure where they can and cannot ship.
I hope that helps.
