I know in Canada you have to be 18 and up to serve liquor, but what if you are just stocking it and not serving it nor required to open a bottle at all?

I am holding a wine tasing party and have never done it before. We are trying to start out cheap in case we dont like wine. Here is a list of the wines we will be taste testing. What food would be good to have with them?
1. Cisco
2. MD 20/20
3. Night Train
4. Thunderbird
5.Wild Irish Rose
I don’t know anything about wines. But I’m going out with somebody to dinner. And I don’t want to sound like an idiot when it is time to order wine. So what’s like a regular wine I can order, that will make me sound regular like I know what I’m talking about. And won’t cause the waiter to ask me any additional follow up questions that will expose the fact that I have no idea what I’m doing?
Maybe give me more than 1 option just in case
My boyfriend and I want to go wine tasting somewhere beautiful and romantic. I want to go somewhere with one of those old stone mansions with a gorgeous vineyard. Any suggestions for sonoma hwy or even st helena maybe? Thank you!
Just started a batch of strawberry wine yesterday but now I’m having second thoughts about the amount of sugar I added. I want a higher alcohol percentage, but it is already fermenting and foaming. Is it alright to add sugar to the wort and just stir it with al the foam? Or should I remove the foam and then add the sugar and stir it? or should I just wait until I rack it to my secondary? Any tips on how to do whichever you recommend is much appreciated.

Mark, I’ve been to many Catholic parishes and not a single one offered wine to the lay people.
Thanks for all the answers so far, I really appreciate your help.
The parishes I’ve been to are in Ontario, Canada, as that is where I live. The parish I go to now is quite large, and there are two Priests and two other people handing out the wafers.
I can understand not wanting to spread disease, but I mean… can’t they dip the wafer in the cup?
I want to take a wine bottle as a gift to my host family but I’m also under age, I’m 20 yrs old. Would I get in trouble for having a bottle in my possession or would customs just take the bottle away ?
Before you tell me that’s a big no no, you need to know that i made this wine in 2 weeks from welch’s grape juice and it is stored in the original welch’s grape juice containers. its not like this a fine wine or anything close. im just wondering if the fridge will completely ruin the taste because a wine cooler is absolutely out of budget.
no tony. actually you just dont know what youre talking about. I did a lot of research and read 2 books. I feel pretty comfortable about not poisoning myself. thanks for your concern though.
