I am going on a dinner date with this guy and I really don’t like to drink wine. I am sure he’ll suggest to do so, and I don’t know what I should do… Should I just decline his offer like "I’m sorry, I don’t drink wine"? Or is it inacceptable to do that?

i have no internet connection in my linux OS,so i cant download wine from the software center and im frustrated from installing dependencies for wine.
We just moved into a new home, and we have wonderful friends that are looking forward to coming to our housewarming. I had never considered mentioning for anyone to bring a gift or anything in our invitation, but 2 people have now said…"you have an empty liquor cabinet and a bare wine rack… ask people to bring a bottle of their favorite liquor to put on your shelf, or a bottle of wine to put in your rack". I am not sure how I feel about that, Opinions out there on whether this would be something you would be "happy to do" if you saw it in your invitation, or would it be "tacky". (Mind you, these are all close friends and family, not just acquaintances)
I know someone collecting wine and liquor upc and he’s definately making $$$ not just getting $ off coupons on his next purchase…any idea where he’s getting his list of valid upc’s and where he’s sending for rebate?? He collects by the 100’s

I have 7 christmas’s every year…and its time to start thinking of ways to take the load off my wallet! I’m thinking home-made heart-felt gifts this year 
I also found a "candle in a wine glass and ribbon wreath ideas" Both look amazing, and with my crafty skills I can pull it off :p

Not necessarily in her diet. She might dress them up in little outfits and place them strategically around her living room. Strike a deal with an aubergine, bribe some kolrabe, offer a stalk of celery a glass of wine and then accept a cigarette from some French beans–promise to provide access to a certain ex-husband in order to suggest favors down the line….
