Depends on how long you’re going to store it. If it’s only for a day or two, no need because the wine will do fine just by putting the cork back in it. If it’s going to be longer then fridge is fine. Wine Cellars keep red wine at about 55 F which is colder than room temperature so of course you need a fridge!
If you don’t have a separate chiller than store in the fridge and then let stand out for 20 mins or so to balance more.

You can refrigerate an opened bottle of red wine. There is nothing wrong about that. As a matter of fact, it is very wise since the cold temperature will slow the oxidation and it will help better preserve the wine if you will cork it.
Then, when it’s time to drink the wine, just bring it down to 18 to 20 degrees depending on the kind of wine you are drinking.
Red wines are ideally stored at room temperature and drank within a couple days. If you want it to last longer, try a preservation product.
Opened bottles of red wine should be refrigerated. The exception is if you finish half the bottle and happen to have some 375mL bottles. Feel free to pour the remaining wine into the cleaned 375mLs, cork them and store them like unopened bottles. There won’t be enough oxygen in the 375mL to damage the wine, where as if you used the original you essentially have 375mL of air that can damage it. The cold slows that down.
If you have to refrigerate it, just bring it out 15-30 minutes before serving so it warms up to "cellar" temperature — 55-60F. Never let any alcohol get above 74F, the ethanol will vaporize.
Absolutely Not! Red wine does not belong in the fridge!!!
I beg to differ. Sangria should be refrigerated.
refrigerating an open bottle of red will slow down the oxidation. just bring it out in plenty of time to let it reach room temperature again. Oxygen is your big enemy so try to have as little air space and seal the bottle good.
No no no no no!!!!!
