Does the price of a wine correspond to how closely it represents Jesus' blood?
For instance if I drink a 00 bottle of Petrus Pomerol merlot will I be closer to Jesus than if I drink a bottle of wine from a local vineyard?

If you drink enough of any kind of wine, valued or not you’ll be closer to Jesus, as long as you believed in Jesus before you drank it.
If you are Catholic, the cost doesn’t matter, the "Transubstation" is what matters.
The wine itself doesn’t make you close to Jesus.
In catholicism you don’t have to drink the wine if you have a problem with it.
For Christians, it is the Symbolism of the wine and the "remberance" of the last supper that makes it special.
Many Christian Churches use Grape juice instead of wine, I THINK because they don’t want people who have problems with alcohol to avoid church or not partake in the symbolism.
Your question is either a joke or shows PROFOUND ignorance — which is OK, questions are the beginning of faith.

I’d say Jesus wouldn’t go for pretentious expensive wine. He might appreciate the cheaper variety.
And nowhere in the Bible will you find where it says Jesus drank wine, he was impinent , ,,Pure…He gave it to his disciples, but Jesus didn’t drink of it…For if it makes a man to stumble, damnation will be upon him…It was fruit of the vine..they had no way of fertilization back then like we do today..and I don’t think a christian would go into a church and drink wine..We use grape juice, as in remembrance of him..Alcoholic beverages should not be partaken in a Holy Place…God is angry at that.
