Getting married at a vineyard - need help with decor.?
I am getting married at a vineyard in Tennessee in March 2010. There are outdoor spaces for the ceremony if it decides to be a nice mild day but are also plenty of beautiful spaces indoors for icky weather. the problem is, even though i am getting married at a vineyard, i do not want to go with a tuscan or wine/grape theme. my groom & i are more fun, young, and modern. any ideas as to the types of decor or colors we could go with??

Go with anything! We got married at a vineyard and didnt want to do the wine/Tuscan thing either. Our colors were pink and brown with touches of cherry blossoms, and I would have done that same thing had we been married at a hotel or other location. Just do what you want, and it will all fall together seamlessly. Wineries are beautiful locations, you dont need to have burgundy bridesmaids dresses just because its a vineyard.
