has anyone tried cream cheese frosting on a wine cake topped with rasberries?
i am making a pecan wine cake and i want to put cream cheese frosting on it or maybe make it a chocolate cream cheese frosting with rasberries on top for decor, will that all go good together?

I have never heard of a cake like this. A recipe would be helpful as I have no idea what your talking about.
I have to be honest I never heard of wine cake also, but I did look it up on google and found that instead of frosting an icing is mostly drizzled on this cake. But if you still plan on using the frosting, I think the chocolate version sounds better since chocolate and raspberries make a great combo. And also if you don’t want to use cream cheese, you can try using mascarpone instead, it is less tangy than cream cheese.
