Help with finding a good media player?
I need a media player for Ubuntu. I need it to have a library and add to portable devices. I tried Musicmatch Jukebox and Windows Media Player with Wine but neither of them would run on it. I also tried the Music player that came with Ubuntu but that wouldn’t see my MP3 player. I would prefer that it be software for Ubuntu but I have Wine and I can run some Windows XP programs.
It would also be nice if it did internet radio.

sudo apt-get install amarok
rhythmbox
Banshee
Do the same the 2 above if amarok doesn’t support your device
One of them will

PS Don’t use windows programs (you’re letting the side down)
Try vlc for other media (movies)
They do internet radio
