The only way I can think of would be to have a dealer at the destination import it from it’s origin.
I think there are certain licenses or other regulations controlling the trasporting of alcohol across state lines.
Maybe the post office or fedex could advise.
Wine shipping regulations continue to vary by state. Moreover, while several states created new laws this year that allow California wineries to ship directly to their residents, some added regulations to discourage it.
"Some states, it’s just not worth it," says Jennifer Tensley, director of operations for Tensley Wines in Santa Barbara County. "The paperwork for Texas and New York isn’t too difficult. Connecticut is like a book. Plus, they want quarterly reporting. We’re not shipping to Connecticut."
Now here’s a different question: Can you ship wine to your friends, regardless of where in the United States they live?
The answer seems to be yes. As an experiment, two bottles of wine each were shipped last week to people in Florida, New Jersey and Tennessee — all states to which such shipping is not (or not yet) completely legal.
Three major common carriers were used: DHL, FedEx and UPS. Three different means of delivering the packages to the companies were also used: dropping one each at a carrier outlet, a large office-supply store and a small neighborhood private mailbox company. The shipping boxes weren’t labeled as containing wine, but nobody asked about the contents, either.
No one rejected the packages, and the wines arrived without incident in all three states.
Probably not legal but wrap it good and noone will know.
I have checked into this. It is illegal in some places and not in others. Because of this, all of the delivery companies that I talked to (USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL) have regulations against shipping alcohol from an individual. They told me that they will ship "juice", however.
