How did you tell your parents, together or by yourself?
I am visiting my parents (who live in another state) for the weekend, and strongly believe I am pregnant (5 positive tests and some symptoms). It’s really hard to keep my mouth shut, especially as they keep offering me wine and coffee (we’re European…it’s what we do. LOL) but I really want to wait for my husband and I to tell them together when we visit again next month.
Did you tell your parents alone or with your husband? Did you do anything cutesy? Was this their first time becoming grandparents (it will be for my parents)?

My husband and I were actually so afraid to tell anyone because it was not planned that we called everyone over the phone and did it on the speaker phone so that way we could be there together to answer any questions the other one didn’t know what to answer too. Yeah I know, we’re big wussies. I’d wait until you are together, I kind of makes you stronger having your partner there for you and you for him.

I told them myself over the phone but only because my parents at the time lived overseas (Europe).
If you don’t want to drink wine maybe you can tell them "sorry I took some painkillers before we came…."
