I have a few programs installed on Ubuntu through Wine, and need to remove them, How do I do this?
Wine seems to be as unreliable as actually using Windows. I tried Applications>Wine>Remove Wine Software and went through the uninstaller dialogs, but a few things remain. I need to get rid of iTunes and a few other things so that I can install an older version of the same stuff that I know works.

ive had the same problem, if you want something specifically to run windows apps, look up reactos, its still in the beta (aka when microsoft releases a new version of windows) but it looks like its gonna be good. of course keep in mind that wine isnt even version 1.0 yet give it a while and itll be everything that its envisioned to be
ps
reactos is like windows nt built from scratch to be more efficeint and stable, its not windows but its built similarly enough to run windows apps
go to control panel click on add/remove then check the list if it still there if not…
check the software vendor and then go the website see if they have technical support make a phone call or send them a email about your product
