I want to make some coasters using ceramic tiles and wine labels.?
Does anyone have any suggestions for techniques? Mainly what adhesive to use to secure the labels and then what finish to use to make them waterproof. So far I have tried polyurethane, but that turned yellow.

I use stone, but imagine the same technique works with ceramic tiles. I color copy my wine lables, use spray adhesive to adhere them to the stone and then only use non-yellowing, UVB/UVA protecting Varathane to seal them. I cover the backs with either felt or cork to keep them from scratching furniture. They make awesome gifts.
Try UHU glue if you can get it. Varnish tops.
