i’m looking for a retail store in either Belgium or Germany where I can purchase good California wine? ideas?
i would like to find a retail store so i can have California wine sent to my friends within Europe.

Have a look at http://www.vinarte.be (English interface available). They seem to have a selection of very good Californian wines. Prices are hmm… impressive.
On the other hand I want to tell you that in Belgium generally a good assortiment of Californian wines are available in supermarkets. I don't know exactly what your intention is, but you might want to take that into account.
They'll, probably, not be grateful.
