Is it healthy to drink a glass of red wine at night?
I have heard that red wine offers some health benefits. I enjoy an occasional drink during the evening and was wondering if red wine is a better than white wine or other alcoholic drinks. Thanks!

Red wine is beneficial to health due to antioxidants that are present in grape skin pigments. Since red wine is fermented with the grape skins those pigments (and thus antioxidants) make it into the wine. Since white wine, beer, hard alcohol, etc. are, for the most part, do not include red wine skins they are not as beneficial.

yes a glass of red wine is very good /healthy for the body* i think the red is better for the anti-toxidents in the wine*Cheers*
Red wine and dark beer both are heart healthy, if drank in moderation. I don’t think it matters if you drink it at night, in the morning or afternoon though like you asked.
red wine is the only alcoholic drink with health benefits, and these benefits only apply to people with hardened arteries. the benefits are from a chemical in the grape skins, white wine has little contact with the skins. so basically, stick to chocolate milk. remember the words of frank zappa, "alcohol is just an excuse to act like an asshole".

It is good for you to drink a glass of red wine every day as long as you limit it to 4 to 8 ounces. Learn more about how wines benefit your health and which wines are best at the site below.
