Is it okay to give your piano teacher a bottle of wine as a holiday gift?
I’m 17 - my parents own a liquor store. They wrapped it and said to give it to my piano teacher as a Christmas gift; since Winter break is coming up and tomorrow is the last time I’ll see her. Would that be okay to give to her ? (she’s a grandma btw - but she lives with her entire family)
Also, my mom wants me to give one to the director person to this SAT place I go to. Would this be an appropriate gift?

Yeah, of course.
Which old lady doesn’t enjoy free liquor.
My grandma does, and she’s 80.
ya
if they r drinkers… othawise….no
lol
no !
I’d think that if they’re aware that your parents own a liquor store it’d be at least semi-appropriate. If not, I’d question why you’d give me wine if I were them…
well make sure she isnt home alone when u give her the wine.. and if she says "stay" with me for awhile, dont!!!!! lol
As long as they are over 21, it seems fine. You may want to just ask them if they drink, just to be sure they will appreciate it.
Your Piano teacher sure, im not so sure i want my SAT grader to be drunk on wine though…
But its a nice jester, if they know your parents own a liqueur store theyll think its a nice gift.
A lot of people give wine as a holiday gesture but it’s a little weird with you being underage. As long as the gift tag says from the ______ Family and not just your name it’s totally fine. I’m sure they will appreciate it during Christmas dinner.
Why not? Wine is a traditional Christmas gift…
I think it is a fine gift. Sometimes, a person may not drink, but even so, I think it’s a good gift. Especially if well-intentioned.
Even if someone doesn’t drink wine, a nice bottle is a great thing to have around for guests or to take to a dinner party.
If your parents own a liquor store, I’m sure they know what kinds of wine make nice gifts.
If they are over 21, and haven’t told you about any drinking problems then of course!!!
