Learn more about wine and cheese?
Help! I was just hired to work in a deli/sandwich shop that specializes in wines and cheeses. i have experience with making sandwiches, slicing meat, etc. but i know little about fine wines and cheeses as well as pairing the two. is there any way i can learn the basics before i begin my new job in 1 week?

Go to BevMo (Beverages and More) they can help you. My ex bosses are really into wine and I wanted to get them something good for them for christmas so I went there and it worked. They are very knowledgeable and I think they may have tutorials on there website.

But the best way to truly educate your customers will be your own experiences. That just comes with time, but in the meantime know the basics first.
