muscadine wine question about how long it last??
We bought a house that came with the muscadine grapes about 20 huge vines, all the wine making bottles and so forth even a wine cellar. My question is the people who lived here before made wine. There are bottles in the cellar that are dated 1988, are these safe to drink?? It looks like the bottom of the wine is cloudy and has pieces of grapes.

I’m sure it’s "safe" to drink. But if it was any "good" to drink, they would have probably taken it with them. Pour a small glass, smell, and sip. The worst thing that will most likely happen is you have a small mouthfull of vinegar.
