I have made a website http://www.veritaswines.co.uk/ in an effort to learn more about wine clubs and start collecting wine myself. All the information on the site has been made from reading books and researching online but I have never collected wine myself and I would love to hear from someone that does! I would like to find out why they collect wine and what wines they feel are best? What’s the most versatile wine?
I love drinking wine but as I am on my own a the moment I don’t buy it cause I always feel wine is for celebrating! I want a good wine for when my girl friend comes to visit and If I get any other visitors!
i am making a pecan wine cake and i want to put cream cheese frosting on it or maybe make it a chocolate cream cheese frosting with rasberries on top for decor, will that all go good together?
I like wine and occasionally would like a nice bottle of liquor. I don’t drink lots, so not buying in cases or anything close.

I entertain frequently, but we’ve found that our guests generally prefer wine and beer, so I rarely offer hard liquor. I’ve invited some new friends over for dinner, and one fellow is a Scotch drinker. I don’t know anything about Scotch!
I don’t want to spend a lot of money, since it’ll probably just sit in our liquor cabinet — but I don’t want to look like a cheapskate with a crummy brand. Any suggestions? Is it possible to buy a small bottle of something respectable at a decent price???

They sold this awesome wine at my local grocer, it was gone in a bout a week. Oddly, they never carried it again. I forgot the name of the wine, and have been seeking it out ever since (3 months). It is a pinot noir I believe, or Shiraz . . . The label had yellow and red dots drinking wine. Sorry, I don’t have much to go on.
I bought a bottle of kuei hua chen chiew whilst on holiday, they gave me an open bottle free and I’m wondering how long it lasts once opened?
why does clearly European (and not indigenous Argentinian) family seem so vehemently racist about the descendents of the people who occupied the land before European settlement?
and if this family is so superior and ambitious, why do they outsource the winemaking to a French consultant, why don’t they use their superior racial abilities to make their own wine?
