For my sisters birthday, we want to rent a limo service where we can dictate and change destinations within the area as we please. We aren’t huge fans of the wine tours but we do want to wine taste. Please help- it’s her 25th birthday! Cheap is best but any limo service suggestion will help! Thank you!
Okay, here’s the story…I’m too lazy to get dressed and go down the shop to get some cheap plonk. I have this ‘emergency’ bottle that I found at my parents old house 4 years ago. I have stored it well but not sure of its history before that. It is a 1997 penfolds cabernet shiraz bin 389. I googled it a few years ago and the value has jumped from like to +. The few websites that recommend when to drink it say 2010-2012. Will it peak and then go bad or lose value? I looked on the penfolds website and they do a re-corking test and signature for wine 15y.o. or over and mine is 14! My brother has offered to buy it and go to shop for well below value () What should I do? Go dry and keep it, sell it or drink it? Help!
I remember when I lived in France that the lady of the house had her own wine bottles which she would bring to the wine store. They would fill it up for the equivalent of 1-2 USD, just a decent table wine. I was wondering if there were any such stores here in the states.
going on UA can I check a case of wine.
I’m attempting to make a wine barrel rack that looks something like this: http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp;jsessionid=YZKO5J5VANF43LAQBBICCONMCAEFCIWE?id=0061441630125a&type=product&cmCat=froogle&cm_ven=data_feed&cm_cat=froogle&cm_pla=1800303&cm_ite=0061441630125a&_requestid=133974 for someone for the holidays. If you know how to go about doing something like that and/or know how to go about buy a barrel and other hardware, you would be forever helpful.
I don’t drink wine and my husband is an alcoholic but his grandparents drink it…whats a good kind…something sophisticated?
Ok I love wine first of all and have always wanted to open a small wine shop. Maybe add assessors, cheese, and gifts. How to I go about starting something like this. I have the funds,
Any advice is appreciated
I got this book for my birthday in German, because I am learning the language, and I know that "Hund" is German for dog, and that "krimi" is a mystery. The book is called "Blut and Barolo" which I am pretty sure translates to "Blood and Wine". On the cover of the book are two dogs, and behind it what I believe to be a wine vineyard. I read through some of it and searched it on google, but I can’t find the answer.
What exactly is a "Hundekrimi"?
-It’s an Italian white wine.
