Prefer room temp! Make sure you have enough because I’m on my way over. I love reading with a jug of wine!!!!
red wines are supposed to be in room temperature, the white wines are supposed to be served chilled.
room temp!
cold is there any other way not for me.
well red should be kept at like 45~58 to maintain its integrity. but when you drink a port you can put ice in it to really let the flavor come out. i would chill it about a half hour before the club gets there in the fridge just to give it a slight chill.
Red wine shouldn’t be room temp. It should be chilled to 55 degrees. If it is too cold then the true flavours of the wine aren’t tasted or appreciated.
room temperature is the way to go.
If the wine is dry…you wont taste the wine flavors if it’s chilled. Fruity more flavorful reds can be chilled.
65° is a good temp for you to drink most of your red wines at. Some of the more lighter-bodied reds (pinot, burgundy) do better at about 60.
Place the wine in the fridge for about 30 minutes, this will get it down to about 55 degrees, take it to your destination and it will be at serving temperature.
I like it hot with mulled wine spices in…
I would take it room temperature so you won’t offend anyone but I like it chilled too. It takes some of the bite out of it.
The term that was used before "room" and that is still recognized is "cellar" temperature. Red wine was origonally kept in cellars and most time still are and taken directly from them and served. So usually but not always, slightly below room temperature.
Room temperature for this kind.
