Santa Barbara Wine Country?
I’m heading out to the Santa Barbara wine country this weekend. Are there any must see winearies, vineyards, or restaurants? We’re staying at in Solvang, so any places around that area would be great.

Check out the Little town of Los Olivos. I like Bridlewood, Firestone, Sunstone, Lefond, Melville, Redeau. thiose are my favorite. As you drive around you will find onw that you like too. Just have a good time.
My favorites are:
Artiste - it has a cool atmosphere to go with great wines. You’ll have a blast.
Sunstone - organic wines, a nice cave, friendly staff, great red wines!
Rusack - I love this place for the patio. My wife and I will sometimes just go there to buy a bottle and have a picnic on the patio!
Enjoy the area - you really can’t go wrong!

There are so many wineries in this area….it is tough to choose which wineries to visit.
Sometimes you have a great time at a winery because the tasting room host is doing a great job or you’re having fun with your fellow tasters. Other times you are able to relax in beautiful surroundings for a great time. And sometimes you love a winery because the wine is fabulous.
Some of my favorites to visit in this area are Fess Parker, Sanford, and Kalyra.
