I accidentally left an unopened bottle of wine in the trunk of my car for two days. It’s intended as a Christmas present for someone who really likes wine. Will it be okay or is it ruined? It’s been freezing cold for the last week here, so it’s not like it’s been in the heat. But I heard either temperature extreme is not best for wine. What should I do?
In case it matters, it’s a Pinot Noir.

I am wanting some Iowa wines for Christmas. BUT, Iowa law does not allow them to ship wines directly to Texas. I am over 21, and can send my DL - thats not the issue. The issue is interstate wine laws. However, they CAN ship to Ill. I am thinking of having the wine shipped to a Mail Boxes Etc. type store in Chicago where they can repack it and ship it to me in Houston. But, to assure the store owner/manager in Chicago that I am not pulling something illegal I would love to be able to show them that shipping wine from IL to Texas is not illegal. Does anybody have a link or something that can give the store owner that assurance so they will act as my intermediate with confidence? If you can post a link or resource, I’d be so thankful!!!
Please stop posting BS. There are laws regarding shipping wine across state lines and it has nothing to do with prohibition.
You can suggest stuff that is more expensive than dollars but my spending limit is probably going to be to dollars.

What kinds of top shelf liqour do you like? I received a dollar gift card for Meijer (it’s like a very large Wal-mart) this Christmas and I thought I would treat myself to a high quality bottle of liquor.
A co-worker just gave me a bottle of wine as a Christmas gift today. (I have not seen him since before the holidays). We were not close so I was suprised by the gesture. Since it is already weeks after the day, would it be wrong to get him a gift now? How should I handle this? I feel like getting him a gift now would just make it obvious that I didn’t get him anything.
More importantly, how late after this holiday do I still have to go Christmas shopping. I thought it was over haha!

I have a mantle in my room, and a bunch of empty wine bottles on top of it. I have seen those cool lighted wine bottles, but usually they all have to drill a hole in them or use this battery pack. Is there anyway I could just use one cord for all the wine bottle, so I don’t have to drill a hole or buy 10 different 20 bulb christmas lights? Has anyone done this before, and will my idea work/look good?

I live in Germany and my company wants to send a case of wine to a customer in California for Christmas? Is that possible? We would have to pay import duties of course, but my question is if it can legally be done? Does one need a permit or something. We have heard in passing that it is really difficult to do. Any help would be appreciated.
