I recieved a bottle of red wine from France as a gift about 8yrs ago and I have no clue about its quality or value. I tried to research on google and couldn’t find anything. It’s called: Chateau Pontet - Teyssier Saint Emilion Grand Cru 1999 12.5 vol. 750ml. Any info on this bottle would be very helpful to me. Thanks….
in all honesty im not a drinker at all. I have been smoking marijuana for quiet sometime now to deal with extreme insomnia. As better job offers come up I know its time for me to stop smoking but the insomnia worries me alot because I don’t want to take any pills or anything that will harm me greatly, so therfore I’d like to get some wine just to have a glass to relax me before bed. But I have NOOO clue what to buy when I look at all the wines so thats where I need some help. when i do go out with friends or what not I like to have drinks that are very fruity. strawberry is prolly my favorite. I see boones farm has all those fruity flavors, but r those really any good? what could you suggest for me? maybe even something that taste like grapes? but something i don’t have to drink too much of to get a lil buzz going hahaha. thanks!
umm marijuanna is not going to harm me the way sleeping pills would. Marijuanna is not anymore dangerous than a cig or the air that you breathe. Sleeping pills overtime will destroy your liver and possibly kill you. I got very very sick from taking sleeping pills for an extended period of time and don’t care to go through what I went through ever again!
also price is not too much of an issue
The wine salesman said it ranks high in the "wow factor". Was he right? I don’t have a clue about wines.
I got offered a job to sell sake and French wine to restaurants in the Philadelphia area. Is this a tough market to get into? I have no clue as to how hard this kind of job can be. I have sold cars before, so selling isn’t a problem. I’m more interested in the demand for sake considering I know no one who drinks it!
I’ve run Linux and OS X my entire life. Now I am having to learn windows for school, or just have it for VB and gaming.
So I built a new computer for school with;

G.Skill RAM
Zalman CNPS a9900 heat sync with arctic silver 5
Installed a copy of 64bit windows 7 pro that I DLed from my schools MSDNA free software thingy/junk.
It’s crashing randomly. Sometimes after 3 hours of use. Sometimes after 3-5 Minutes. Sometimes I can get on and game for Hours and then as soon as I quit the game (well <2 mins after) it crashes. The kind of crashes I am talking about are; Number lock + Caps lock freeze can’t toggle them. Can’t move mouse. Cant Ctrl+Alt+Del. Cant Ctrl+Shift+Escape. Only thing that works is pressing reset on my Tower.
So I got fed up with windows and trashed it. Installed Ubuntu 10.10. Everything is more then fine. 3 Weeks of up time, hard drive is a lot quieter, temps are cooler, takes WAY less ram to do nothing, i.e., sit on the desk top. I’m a linux pro so I can install drivers manually, do w/e. Fixed a no audio over HDMI issue off the top of my head ect…
3 WEEKS UP TIME AND NO PROBLEMS!!!!
Today I shrank a partition, reinstalled Windows 7, which was a mistake because windows wrote of the MBR so I had to reinstall grub, but any way now my HDD is dual booting Ubuntu and W7.
Guess what. Fresh install. Installed video card drivers, wireless card driver, ran updates. Tried to install Fallout New Vegas, and it crashed again. Same kind of crash. I checked the event logger and all it says are things like, windows was improperly shut down. I’m guessing this is from me having to press the reset button.
But anyway here is where I need help. I am not a windows pro, this is the first time I have really used windows other then on a school computer. So I have to clue what I should be checking/where I should be looking.
As much as I dont wan’t to use windows I have to use it for school and for games that wine can not install on Ubuntu.
I am guessing this is a software issue as Ubuntu 10.10 Hauls @$$ and never freezes, lags, locks up, or crashes.

for someone who does not drink (yeah, you read it right - does NOT drink), how should I pick a bottle of wine as a gift for a friend who loves wine? I walked into a wine store and flat-out told the sales person that I needed assistance to pick the best bottle they have in the house under a certain budget. the guy did help and offered a bottle. and yes, i bought it. but then i went home, googled the bottle and found no info. i have no clue if i got ripped off for something that could be bad sales in the house or if i found a treasure that is waiting to be popular. how do i know what to do next time i walk into a store ? ps. the bottle i bought says "casado morales seleccion privada". so i only know it’s from casado morales winery but not further info of the actual location where the bottle is produced.

The song was "Shriner’s convention". I don’t drink so I don’t have a clue about it and a search on google didn’t help much.
I don’t drink wine myself as I get a headache from the tannins or something like that. But I just got a cabinet with a small wine rack in it, and would like to have a few bottles around to offer glasses to guest (instead of a beer, lol).
I have no clue what I should keep on hand. Can you offer advice on what to chose for a half a dozen bottles? I’d like to keep it under 0 if possible.

Well i’m studying ICT at college and i want to get into coding when I leave, so i thought i’d give myself a head start and start now. Problem is, i haven’t a clue where to start with coding, so any help would be great.
It’s also worth noting that I’ve only done very basic coding before such as LUA, never done anything like Visual Basic, C++ or anything of the sort, so i’d better start at the basics.
I’m running Linux too, so i obviously can’t run any windows software unless it works under WINE.
