I’m meeting my girlfriend’s parents for the first time. We’ve heard you should bring a gift, but we’re not sure what.
We’re traveling from New York to Edinburgh, Scotland, so the usual gifts of wine and flowers aren’t suitable.
I don’t want to look like I’m coming on too strong, so my gf and I think it would be best to get something from us both.
What do you think would be good? No flowers or wine!

Is it tacky and cheap to show up for an adult friend’s b-day party without a small gift (bottle of wine/liquor, gift card, etc).
I personally have never shown up to any type of party without something (food, wine, flowers) but apparently alot of people think its okay. I think you are a cheapskate and a boor if you attend a birthday party for a close friend with no gift and/or birthday card.

I’m 16 and leaving high school this year. I feel I really need to get something for my Math teacher. She stays after school every Tuesday and Thursday for extra classes with the higher tier folks.
I was going to get her a bottle of wine but I don’t know… Lol. I thought it might be weird a minor purchasing wine for her teacher. I don’t fancy buying her flowers/chocolates ect, I think she would appreciate the alcohol more!

i know that you can add the wine option to your Disney Dining plan, but i am looking more for a just a one time, first night thing, like a bottle of wine and chocolate covered strawberries? Maybe something like flowers? I called ahead and spoke to an agent about the Port Orleans-Riverside (our hotel) but they didnt have any answers for me, they just told me to speak to guest services once we arrive at the hotel! anyone know if this possible? thanks a bunch
Have any of you heard about the Disney Florist? I tried to do some research and i think they can deliver to all disney hotels. (and they have some really romantic packages!) any thoughts?
