These fruit wines are made from other fruits—— not grapes and some vegetables, and the comments have been along the lines that one would have not thought these were any other than the regular wines.

is this type of decor "outdated" or old fashioned? I have a fruits & wine themed kitchen and think some of these would add a nice touch.

(I’m 18…i haven’t tasted wine once in my life, but i’m curious)

the tastes of different wines seem to always be described by some kind of flavor like a fruit (cranberry, peach, orange etc.) or chocolate, vanilla, and such.

but the wines that are being described aren’t made with any of that…

like this one wine says it has 75% Cinsault, 15% Syrah and 10% Grenache..(or something along those lines) and they’re all grapes! - so how is it the wine has "rasberry" and "cranberry" fruit flavors??

(the fruits aren’t actually used in the wine making process right?)

ok i made wine and it didnt do setting so i just drnk it rite away. i want simplest and quickest way to make wine or rum with fruits. also can i put in rotting fruit or must i cut out the rotten parts.
i do have the de fizzer thing i just could not get that to work . if anything can be made completeed in a matter of days, give me the recipe ! thanks
main thing is i want it to be relatively alcoholic
i have yeast and fruit but i want to make it in the next day completed
i do have potatos no money to buy liquer so working with what i have here
ok here is my idea light boil fruit and potatos together let sit for a hour . add how ever much water to fruit in a pot and mix together. mix in sugar. let sit and cool to warm. make yeast with sugar and water. slowly add yeast mix stir in. let sit for days and stir gentle twice a day in pot covered with a towel. then it should soon be ready to drink. heres where i mixed up. the de fizzer did not take out any oxygen bubbles so this time it iwll be different? also how much yeast to put in. im just guessing its going to be good for me.
and the left over fruit should be saved and put in a pie. covered with chocolate and dried as treats. i may take out fruit after 2 days mixing

What do you think is good combinations of cheese and wines? I know that you can have one piece of cheese that could taste entirerly different with a taste of wine. And should there be like a blan bread or cracker for cleansing the pallat between tastings?
Thank you for any help…
Great links! Pairing with fruits also is a great idea.

I’ve just made my first batch of mead and it is fermenting now, after fermentation can I add flavours, using real fruits before I rack it?, or ideally should fruit flavours be added at the start. Also if I can add fruit after fermentation what else do I need to consider?

Thanks

I am going to try making homemade wine, I’ve wanted to for years.

There is no good info. on which fruits work best.

What do you suggest? Do you have any experience with any specific fruits?

The wine is for my project and I would like it to be tasty since I haven’t really tasted any kind of alcohol.
I hope that the fruits that can be the tastiest can also be home made and doesn’t have any rare ingredients in its recipe or complicated processes.
So, in your opinion, what would best suit this conditions and can still be tasty for you?

We are having a discussion about wine and their taste. My boyfriend believes that when they describe a wine having a "cherry flavor" or "black currant flavor" etc., they really add juice from cherries or other berries. Is this true? I can’t believe that a reputable winery would add other fruits or berries to their grapes.
