I know some wines are produced in Germany and Austria, and some cheese too, but that is nothing compared to what is fond in France, Italy or Spain (in quantity and variety)
Why is that?

In my country (New Zealand) they have a huge wine section in the supermarket, does everyone have that now? Haven’t been to Germany for 10 years but back then they did sell beer in McDonalds & spirits in little kiosks on the street, sort of like hot dog stands. Never saw anyone drunk though, so I guess they can’t have a binge drinking culture or teenagers that like to party would always be at McD’s.
I live in Germany and my company wants to send a case of wine to a customer in California for Christmas? Is that possible? We would have to pay import duties of course, but my question is if it can legally be done? Does one need a permit or something. We have heard in passing that it is really difficult to do. Any help would be appreciated.
I live in Germany and my finance loves cigars, but I can not find anywhere that I can buy the humidors and other accessories. I am looking for a wine rack with humidor.
I live in the Mosel region of Germany and love the local white auslese wines, how do I find a similar taste from red wines?

A friend wants to send me a gift of three bottles of wine from Germany. Can he just drop the parcel off at his post office or are there any specific regulations as far as the wine import is concerned?
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
