question cont’d.. prefer to use the wine & liquor information touch screen kiosk that the store owner just had installed(should it be easy to use and have pertinent information to offer about each brand that is in the store ?) –OR– would you prefer to take it upon yourself to peruse the isle rows of bottles/labels on the shelf instead , picking up various bottles to try and read the labels?
Looking for good cheap french wine that i can get in the San Francisco area. Any kind do. looking under ten bucks a bottle. The Cheaper the better, but need it to be french. Will be using the bottles as take home gifts for wedding. If you have no idea where to get any in SF, you can tell me certain labels i can look for in the stores that are pretty cheap.. thanks!

The wine business that I am referring to in particular is buying bottled wine without labels known as ‘Shiner’, putting my label on it and selling it online in CA.
I am trying to think of something catchy for our the labels of the wine bottles we are giving as favors at our wedding. We are custom making the labels and wanted something simple yet catchy to put on them….anyone?
I want to order one as a gift and maybe order wine with it or just the label and buy the wine myself. most places I have looked up require you to order a whole case of wine or a whole sheet of labels but I only want one! any suggestion or people who have ordered one before? help!
you go shopping for wine and there are all of these ratings posted in front of bottles from the wine spectator and the wine advocate and Robert Parker and they give the wine a good rating (like a 90). Then you look at the rating label and they are rating (for example) a 2003 wine and then you look at the wine being sold and it’s a 2006.
I’m being anal about this because I just came home from shopping and this one liquor store had about a dozen of these mis-rating labels posted around the store. Blatant false advertising.
I like an occasional glass of wine from the retail, usually less than ten dollars, but I read some of the labels and it advertises no sulfites or “contains sulfites”. Should I care?
What's the best way to remove both the label and the sticky glue from wine bottles? I'm reusing wine bottles for a craft project, and have been boiling and soaking the wine bottles to remove the labels. The labels are coming off, but I'm still stuck with the sticky glue from the labels- not pretty at all. Anyone have a good suggestion?
