I just closed a deal with a client. I have been in Real Estate a long time but have never got the "art" of gift giving down.
I need something that is affordable, easy to obtain but leaves a good impression.
I was thing a box of wine, half red, half white.
But what wine to get?? and is there info out there on how I might be able to strike a deal with a california winery?
I would buy from them exclusively for my clients if they offer a discount??

I just bought an Oster 12 bottle wine "cellar" on Ebay for . It was listed as "new". When it came it was all banged up & the drip tray was cracked to the point that it won’t be useful. But it was 1/2 the retail price. My first thought was to send it back. But what a hassle! So my question is what do you think? Are the problems with this unit inconsequential? Or are they serious enuf that I shouldn’t mess with this thing?

It is dented @ the top left rear metal cage, behind the electrical elements. And it’s also kicked in at the bottom. As I said, the drip tray is badly cracked.

So what do you think? Spend the $ to send it back? I think the seller will reimburse me 1/2 of that if he keeps his word. But he hasn’t returned any of my emails in a long time - even tho he asked me to email him photos of the damage.

Most importantly, is this thing a safety hazard?

It’s hot & my wines are in need of shelter. What do you think? Get another one? Or "Just Chill"?

I have a ton of relatively good wine and am looking to buy a refrigerator. I’m willing to spend around 0 an hope to get something that will last a long time and can hold 40-50 bottles. I just need the wine to be stored properly, not necessarily duel temperatures or the major bells and whistles.

Thank you for all your help.

A long time ago I had some wine that I enjoyed. I can’t remember the taste because it was so long ago. All I remember is that it came in a black bottle and the word "rose" was on the label. I’m not sure if it was a rose wine or not. The label could have possibly been black as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am interested in giving it as a gift to a friend.
Please remember it comes in a black bottle.

Hi,

Hoping someone can offer me some advice. Being the wine lover that I am, I often buy small bottles to have at home. One of these, which I can only pressume had been sitting there for over two months was tucked away in my room. Tonight I bought a bottle with the same label and stupidly ended up confusing the two and drank a glass of the old wine that had been sitting there for A LONG TIME. It had been open about two months ago although I had replaced the screw cap on the bottle.
Just realised my mistake and am sick with worry, Have heard stories about people dying from mold-infected things such as this, and that it can cause brain damage etc. Not sure what to do?
Has anone ever done similir and how did you fare?

Any advice welcomed.

Update - Not only is the seller not returning my e-mails, but he is no longer registered with Ebay.
Oh well. Hope the darn thing works

I have a 24 bottle wine fridge, and I plan on storing some of the bottles I've acquired for a long time, 10 years or more. As long as I keep it plugged in and set at around 51-50 degrees, is there any forseeable problems from using it versus a real wine cellar?

im always hearing about the aging of wine…like keeping it in cellars, for long time. this whole "fine wine" thing.

i dont drink, so i know nothing about alcohol and im curious to know. does wine, at least the kind you would put in a cellar, expire at some point? how long can they be kept down there?
