About 10yrs ago the corner liquor store had some wine that I loved and have since been wondering what it was.
The only thing I can remember about it was that it had a picture of an estate on the front and on the back it had a little blurb about how the vineyards that the grapes were cultivated from had been spared some crop disease in the 1700 or 1800s.
I believe it was from France and it was either Merlot or a Bordeaux.
I know this is vague but I’m hoping someone here can help me out.
Which of these 3 is the LOWER bottle, I hate to open a good one and sip alone,,,, Thank you. Cheers!

We are buying a couple hundred bottles (merlot and chardonnay) for our wedding and are ordering custom labels. There is not a Trader Joes in our state (there is one where our wedding will be), so I can’t go look at one. I called a few stores and no one was willing to check for me! I don’t want to order the wrong size labels. If anyone has this info or has a bottle you could measure I would really really appreciate it!
No we are not serving it, we are giving them as favors with a wine glass. Were serving more expensive wine. But for favors charles shaw actually doesn’t taste bad at all. We couldn’t afford to serve expensive alcohol and buy a couple hundred more bottles as favors too.

I’m a novice wine drinker. I’ve found that I like Merlot’s the best because, in my limited experience, they’re the least sweet. I really like Ecco Domani, Mezzacorona, and Cellar No. 8 (I think that’s a Berringer wine, but I’m not sure). I would love some suggestions of good merlots in various price ranges and some other less sweet reds.
An under , under , and under 0 suggestion would be most appreciated. As well as which regions are known to have better reds, if certain years are better than others, or any other tips that a novice would benefit from.

I am not a big wine drinker, but I wanted to start buying wines that would help me with a Healthy heart. So which kind of red wine will help me with that?(merlot, zinfandel, syrah, etc)

Can anyone tell me if there is a good but " less expensive " wine of the month" club,,, how much did it cost per month? If you were a member, what kind of wine did you get, was it good, or not so much? I love Chardonney, and Cabernet and Merlot.. But I will try just about any kind of wine..
