Is there a Winery in Napa with an onsite cooperage (barrel maker) that provides public tours. Preferably not too expensive.
Or if not…is there a really scenic roadway or Vineyard that would be nice for a day trip?

I’ve wanted to go there for quite some time, and I’ve heard Napa can’t be beat for scenery and cuisine. This might seem like a silly question, but has anyone found it to be too pretentious? We’re not poor, but we’re not wealthy either. Will we stick out like sore thumbs if we go there in Target clothes and renting an economy car?
If that’s not a problem, then what are some of the good places to go?
Drinking and driving, no problemo there. My husband actually never drinks alcohol at all. He’s willing to go for all the outdoors stuff (he’s really into photography) and the food, but the pleasure of enjoying the wine would be all mine.
I am trying to find out if there is a way to get from san fran without renting a car OR paying 50$ ech for a tour bus to go to napa or sonoma for a day.
is there a bus or a train or other public transportation that will get me there cheep?
My first friend from college is getting married and wants to do a wine tasting/spa weekend in Napa. This totally sounds fun to me but I have never been there and have no idea what/where is good, and I am the one planning the weekend…help please!
My boyfriend doesn’t drink, I mean a taste of alcohol hasn’t crossed his lips in at least 5 years. I would LOVE to do a wine tasting tour in either napa or sonoma, but don’t really know where to start because it is mandatory that wherever we go have a non-alcoholic choice…
Thanks
There are so many tours to the wine country which is best? Should you see Sonoma and Napa?
Flying into Oakland, renting a car, then traveling to Napa. Where is a good place to stay? 3 days, 2 nights of fun for my wife and I.
We’ll be in Napa and Sonoma for 2 days this Summer. I don’t want to be drunk all day just tasting wine. What are some other neat things we can do? Anything outdoorsy? Thanks!
I am new to wine, but I have fallen in love with different Chiantis, wines from Ribera Del Duera, and Priorat… I am living in Spain for about another week before I move back to the states. My goal is to open a vineyard in the states. Not Napa, somewhere different. I want a magazine that can explain about the process as well as new wines to try. Any suggestions?
Is it better to drive up there yourself and do wine tasting or is it better to take the bus tours?
i basically want to go for the scenery and do a little wine tasting. Do I need a reservation for wine tasting? or can i just drive up to napa and do the wine tasting?
