I’m just kind of curious why everyone seems to like California wines, most everyone I have had has been detestable… so is it that I’m missing a particularly good vineyard or do all CA wines taste very acidic? I’m open to varietals and vineyards to try… it would make finding wines a bit easier since even here in VA one of the top wine producing states most stores only stock CA wines.

For those who haven’t heard of Virginia wines, here’s a couple of my favorite vineyards, Williamsburg Winery (they’ve won some awards) and Wynham Winery. Check out this site too http://www.virginiawines.org/

I need to find about 4Lb of wild blackberry’s to be able to make this wine, but I can’t find enough at the moment. Can i freeze them and build up a stock that way, whilst keeping the flavor?

I received the wine from the bawineclud but they don’t have any more in stock. Thornhill is a vineyard in Monterey California. The bottle costs around .00.
