I have a bottle of Portuguese red table wine which was a wedding gift. The dark bottle is at least 5 years old and has been sitting on a shelf in my kitchen. I’m unsure if it may have required a different storage atmosphere (cooler conditions, darker area) Is it still ok to drink?
I remember when I lived in France that the lady of the house had her own wine bottles which she would bring to the wine store. They would fill it up for the equivalent of 1-2 USD, just a decent table wine. I was wondering if there were any such stores here in the states.
It’s a red table wine. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault, Carignan and Counoise grapes. I’m not sure if this is any good. I just came across the bottle. Can anybody tell me if it’s drinkable, when it peaks or if it peaked, etc? Any information would be great.

its a bottle with a multi leather case with a shinny copper colored metal handle. leather is black red white green and brown sewed around the middle with a white thick shiney string.
there is no date on the lable but its yellowing and appears very old. im not gonna take the leather casing off to check the bottle for markings. any ideas
im not interested in drinking it. i collect this kinda thing. just wanna know the age out of curiosity
What wine pairs well with Irish Cheddar Cheese? Right now, all I have at home is Blueberry Weisser, Sweet Blackberry Wine, and Red Table wine. Would any of these go well with the cheese?
Also, what type of crackers would go well with the cheese. I have to have crackers with my cheese!
I drink a glass of Cab. or Red Zin with dinner almost daily. My wife, not being a fan of hearty tasting reds ,discovered Peter Villa’s Red Delicious Table Wine in a box. A little light for my taste,but I was curious as to whether it offers the same health benefits as drinking my one glass of Cab. or Zin a day. Not to knock the wine, If the health benefits are there I will continue to buy it for my wife and use my better wines for special events.
What is the meaning of the words table wine for a wine and some wines have the words table wine on their bottles?
I was visiting OK when I bought Macaroni Grill table wine. It was labeled with that name. I can’t seem to find it here in California.
I'm looking for cheap wine in California, by cheap I mean really cheap table wine. Please let me know. Thanks
