My husband and a large dog are organizing a road trip in a few weeks. We plan on getting to Coose Bay and driving down to Napa Valley to do wine tasting. Then we will go over to Reno (I never have been) then to Chico, up to Crater Lake, and finally home. What are your favorite stops along the way? For dogs or without dogs (he does really well on car rides)?

Were getting together with our in-laws for New year’s eve. Me and my MIL both really like wine. She told me to bring a wine for us to drink. We both enjoy really, really sweet red dessert wines. I’m bringing one of my favorite wines (Alba Vineyards, blueberry wine), but I also want to bring something new to try. What would we like?
I really like:
Arbor Mist Pinot Noir mixed berry
Alba Vineyards Blueberry wine
I’ve tried Eiswein but didn’t enjoy it because I don’t like the taste of white wine. I’ve tried Port but found the alcohol flavor to be too strong.
I don’t know much about wine so any suggestions for a super sweet red wine would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have a few people that have turned up unexpected, but have only a bottle of red opened about two weeks (at most) ago to offer. I usually keep red wines that have been opened for cooking, but would it be advisable to pour for a drink? Jacob’s Creek Grenache Shiraz it is. I understand flavor will be altered, but is it safe to drink as it has been sealed with a screw top, but at room temperature. Many thanks in advance.

I ownd my house and purchased everything in it before getting married. I understand that anything purchased during marrige is considered community property but he was never put on the house or loan. My husband has died leaving 2 children and his ex wife is taking me to court because she thinks she can have half of the house and everything in it that is mine that I paid for with my own money before we were ever married. Does she have a case?

I wanted to buy my co-workers some nice bottles of wine for Christmas but I’m not a wine expert! I hardly ever drink at all, so I don’t know what brands are my best bet! Keep in mind as you read this that I am very new to Ubuntu. OK, so I just started using Ubuntu 10.04 Beta, and was checking out the Software Center. It was good stuff until I tried to download Wine; there was no "Install" button at the right as there normally was for other apps; I could only view "more info." As I investigated further, I realized that this was the case for many other apps (about 30%); I you could see their descriptions and screenshots but there was no option to download and install. What is causing this problem and how do I fix it? If it is important, my Ubuntu install is on a flash drive. Thanks in advance for your help!
I am flying from Madrid, Spain to Newark and then a connecting flight to North Carolina. I want to bring back some wine and beer as gifts. I really just wanted to wrap the wine in old clothes and towels if possiable. I have a whole suitcase set aside for just gifts. Also I can not seem to find bubble wrap anywhere in the small Spanish town I am currently in. Thanks in advance.
I have a wine refrigerator, but it came with no lock. I am looking for the possiblily of finding a separate lock to put on. Any suggestions or ideas? Thanks in advance!
I think I should clarify. There are no children involved, although the expression concern is nice to hear/know. I am moving in with a roommate, and want to be sure my wine is locked up and secure while I am away or gone from home. The lock is merely to keep out theft.
