Wife and I are going to Napa valley over Thanksgiving and want to make sure we go to some great vineyards for tastings and tours. We also want to make sure we cover our bases since we are going over Thanksgiving, and want to make sure we don’t run into any problems or issues.

I’m trying to add a little class to her life. She has no interest in art museums and doesn’t understand fine dining. She likes beer, not wine. What can I do to elevate her a little.

When she leaves me a note, it is full of spelling errors and is poorly written. She is very physical instead of cerebral which is the opposite of me. She is much younger and larger. I buy her everything. I wanted to buy new place settings for Thanksgiving and she suggested Target !!

I offered to send her to college, but she is not interested and would rather spend time lifting weights she said.

Some people define wine as firmented grape juice, never anything but grapes… for thoes of you who feel this way, don’t bother answering… Some people think that wine can be made of anything at all (within reason of course)… Mead is any type of wine made with honey, but traditionaly is made with just honey… but one can make a fruit mead…

Reason? Winemaking is one of my hobbies… but I don’t like grapes much… and I’m curious what people like…

I’d immagine a spiced cranberry mead would be amazing for thanksgiving…

comments, suggestions, ideas, recipes, and whatever else you’d like to submit.

Other Notes: I’m allergec to strawberry and refuse to use metabisulphate.
Wine CAN be made of virtualy anything… theoreticaly, you could make wine from lawn clippings, I doubt you’d want to drink it, but it could be done… I mostly want suggestions and ideas.

I am leaving to go out of state to stay with a friend and her family for the Thanksgiving Holiday. My friend's parents each like different wines. Her mother likes Pino Grigio and her father likes Merlot or Cabernet. Can you recommend a good one to take as a Hostess Gift for them? I appreciate your help.
