I sent an attachment to a friend, containing some secthes I had done. However, in addition to the pictures, a range of random images appeared in the attachment - from unidentified people to bottles of wine, to plain wierd shots of buildings I had never seen, black lines and other strange things. I recognised a couple of the images as products I had looked at on amazon, but in the main it was just a collection of mysterious images.
Could it be that some kind of adware virus/spamming had made its way into my email account, or the software I had downloaded to attach the sketches?
I am very worried in case this happens again, and the images are more offensive.

now i do a lot of banking and and other personal stuff on my pc and i want a security software for linux that works well and detecs almost every virus and spyware and updates itself and i don’t want to use any of use any od those programs like wine and all that and because i have never used linux before can someone please tell me a good word processing program for it and what internet browser will i have when i install linux will there still be internet or other programs.

i recently put ubuntu on my pc thinking it would be cool and fun for something new….but now i soooo friggin hate linux im at the point where im ready to shoot the pc and the developers of linux …nothings about linux is easy, why should i have to download more software (wine) and learn coding just so i could use the software i wanted to use,, i want windows xp back … and don’t even bother telling me windows is full of viruses (those you can get rid of) …lol cuz linux in my opinion is a virus thats very hard to get rid of. any ways bottom line i just want linux off my pc …

Is there a software package which can contain a virus executable or a harmful executable like it was running in wine on linux or similar. Like a shell or folder you could open an application in that would contain anything the executable tried to copy or etc so that when your done using it you could delete the folder and it was like you never ran it. Ideally I could setup linux and use wine to run the program but i dont want to have to go to that much trouble.
