My friend likes to have themed parties, and this time she’s having a wine and cheese party. I’ve drank plenty of wine, and I’ve eaten lots of cheese, but I usually don’t put the two together. Any suggestions from connoisseurs?

i am a total noob when it comes to wine! I want to try out some wine with cheese and apple, what do you guys prefer? any kind of wine and cheese.
also what is the best kind of wine that is sweet for any time of day to drink by itself?
My friend’s having a wine and cheese party later. She asked me to bring something that goes well with the cheese and wine combination. I don’t know what to bring? Nuts? Grapes? Chocolates?
So… I may have gotten in over my head promising a classy-like wine and cheese party to my friends (luckily were all close so if it sucks they’ll still love me). I have an idea of the wines and cheeses I will have, but do I serve crackers? Ritz, triscuits, or do I have to go crazy and get melba and crositni things? FYI, I’m serving fruit too. Anything else that is relatively simple I can serve these kids (like no more than 2-3 steps further than opening a box). Thanks for your help!!
LOL…it’s not for actual kids…I just ca;; my friends "the kids"…I assure you we are all well over 21…some of us treading pretty close to 30:)
also….my evil plan is to buy all of the stuff I need at Trader Joe’s…any special items from there anyone can suggest? They have a rally good pesto/cheese tort thing I plan on getting.
Should I just stick with plain crackers or are there any specific brands, flavors that go well for a wine and cheese tasting?
Is it better to just skip the wine and cheese party when you’re vegan and sXe?
PS: Never tried non-alcoholic wine, or any kind of wine.
I need to bring a chocolate something-or-other to a wine and cheese event. It’s just a casual get together, not a wine tasting event, but I want to bring something classy and tasteful. Would anyone like to share their favorite chocolate dessert recipe with me? Thanks so much!
So I will be in paris for a couple of days and was wondering if they have some sort of discount pass to see the sites - you know like a all-in-one thing like they have in some American cities -
Also, i would like to bring back some wine and cheese - does anyone know the rules pertaining to this? can I bring back cheese? and how much wine?
Also I will be in France for 6 days - think I can get buy on 0 (i’m not paying for lodging) I’m not going to roll like a high roller - mostly just eating food fromt he vendors - maybe one nice dinner night.
Sorry I’m just kind of nervous - mainly because I don’t know any french!
I’d like to have friends over for wine and cheese. I would like a list of cheeses that would make for a nice presentation and go with white and reds. Anyone?
Hmm, the issues is parenting; if not wine and cheese, what kind of event would you see parenting education providers going to?
Okay, it’s not about "whining" - it’s an open forum to discuss issues: research, evaluation, etc.
